6.5 Cleaning the Comyn oil/water Separater The automatic control system associated with all sizes of Comyn Separator consists of a transistorized level control unit, actuated by a probe mounted horizontally within the oil recover dome The level control unit which incorporates indicator lights is mounted together with an on/off fused switch, alarm bell and terminal box, on a suitable panel attached to the separator shell The control panel is sometimes mounted at some position away from the separator.
