KEY WORDS dust removal;granular layer;dust removal efficiency;pressure difference Phase diagrams of Li2Mo04-Na2M004 and Na2M004-K2M004 systems DING Yimin2).HOU Na,CHEN Nianyi,XIA Yiben2) 1)Collge of Sciences Shanghai University,Shanghai 200444.China 2)School of Materials Science and Engineering.Sharghai University.Sharghai 200072.China ABSTRACT The phase diag rams of the Li2Mo04-NaMo04 and NaMo04-K2Mo04 systems have been re- assessed using differential thermal analysis together with high-temperature and room-temperature X-ray diffraction analy sis.The results showed that the compound Li2Mo04'6NaMo04 did not exist;however,it confirmed the existence of the compound Li2Mo04'3NaMo04in the Li2Mo04-NaM004 sy stems.With re- gard to the system of Na2Mo04-K2Mo04,we could not confirm the results reported by Bukhanova who claimed that the system was eutectic type with 1I and 1:2 intermediate compounds,refuting the state- ment of Amadori w ho thought there w as an apparent phase boundary at high temperature in a-solid solut ion region of the NaMo04-K2Mo04 binary system.The revised phase diagrams of these systems are illustrated in this article.These experimental results are in agreement with the computerized prediction using the sup- port vector machine-atomic parameter method for the assessment of phase diag rams. KEY WORDS phase diagram;DTA;Li2M 004;NaMo04;K2Mo04 【摘自Rare Metals,2006,25(4):316] Effects of PSMA and experimental conditions on the morphologies of BaCO3 w hiskers CHENG Bei,YU Xiaoxiao,YUJiaguo,ZHAO Xiujian State Key Laboratory of Advanced Techmlogy for Material Synthesis and Pmcessing,Wuhan University of Techmlogy.Wuhan 430070.China ABSTRACT BaCO3 whiskers exhibiting different morphologies were fabricated by a simple precipitat ion reaction of barium chloride with sodium carbonate in the absence and presence of poly-(sty rene-alt-maleic acid)(PSMA)as a crystal growth modifier at room temperature.The as-prepared products were character- ized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),and X-ray diffrac- tion (XRD).The influences of experimental parameters on the size and morphology of BaCO3 whiskers were investigated and discussed.It was found that the as-prepared BaCO3 whiskers are single crystals with diameter ranging from 100 to 300nm,and grow along the crystallographic a-axis or [100]direction.Ba- CO3 whiskers with different morphologies such as branching and dendritic structure,can be obtained de- pending on the experimental conditions.With increasing PSMA concentration,the diameter of BaCO3 whiskers decreases.
