Research advancement and status on crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis GUO Jian - hua , ZHAO Chun - jiang , WANG Xiu , CHEN Li - ping (National Engineering Research Center for Information Technology in Agriculture , Beijing 100097) Abstract : Based on the overview of the crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis , the merits and shortcomings of different diagnosis meth2 ods were summarized. It should be a trend to combine the non - destructive measurement with the traditional crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis. On the soil testing and fertilizer recommendation , the technology of the extensive crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis should be strengthened so as to increase the accuracy of the formulated fertilizer. Therefore , a comprehensive index system of different crops nitrogen nutrition diagnosis should be built.
