上海充通大学 Research Status of Human-Computer Interaction also in the products made by high-tech enterprises.The Helmet Mounted Display provides users with a sense of immersion,which emerges when users are surrounded by the same scenes in the virtual reality system as those in the real world.Nowadays,this sense is pursued by many game's masterminds and is very popular on the market.The stereoscopic glass is the core part of the Helmet Mounted Display and is used to observe the 3D virtual scene.The glass mainly utilizes the liquid crystal light valve to switch the image shown in the two eyeglasses,which is the principle of the Helmet Mounted Display (Zhao Cao,2011). Fig.12 Helmet Mounted Display 6.2.2 Data Glove Except the Helmet Mounted Display,the Data Glove is also a very important virtual reality hardware, which was invented in the 1980s.The Data Glove--integrating the sensor technology and optical fiber technology--is supposed to transmit the bending status and exact position ofusers'finger joints and force status of their fingers and wrists to the virtual reality system.The matching virtual reality software in the computer can deal with the data from the gloves and give response to the users' gestures,by,such as,creating exact virtual gestures in the virtual reality system.(Zeng,Liang,Liu- Wang,2000).This device is added into some computer games so that the effects of human- computer interaction are strongly enhanced and the joy in the games are greatly improved. Fig.13 Data Glove 6.2.3 3D Stereo Display The 3D stereo display plays an important role in showing the stereoscopic image without any need for users to wear 3D glasses.The 3D stereo display is able to make the 3D model's real appearance reappear.Some 3D stereo display is also called the stereo projection system due to its using several projectors and a multichannel large screen display system to create the virtual 3D image(Zheng, Yu,&Cheng,2008).This system provides users with a stronger impact effect and a more intense immersive effect. 14/19Research Status of Human-Computer Interaction 14 / 19 also in the products made by high-tech enterprises.
