Psychrometric Applications The remainder of this presentation centers on systems involving moist air.A condensed water phase may also be present in such systems. The term moist air refers to a mixture of dry air and water vapor in which the dry air is treated as a pure component. The Dalton model applies to moist air. By identifying gas 1 with dry air and gas 2 with water vapor,Table 12.2 gives moist air property relations on a mass basis.
