China) Abstract For discussing the relation between the contrast of X-ray diffraction enhanced imaging(DED)and the energy of X-rays, the massive samples of breast tissue including normal and cancerous were studied with the del method using the hard X-rays from 4Wia beamline at the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility(BSRF). The results show that the contrasts of the peak-position image or apparent absorption image keep unchanged when different X-ray energies are used. The contrast of refraction image trends to be weakened when the X-ray energy is increased.
