Chang an University, Xi'an 710064, China) Abstract: Based on the energy transfer principle of tamping with wave characteristics optimum construction parameters of backfill reinforcement and tamping with high-sI hydraulic tamping machine are studied. Based on the reconstruction project of Banqiao Township to Xiaoyuanzi( Ganning Boundary) second-class road on G309 line, field test was conducted to determine the construction parameters of high-speed hydraulic compactor in the reinforcement and compaction of the abutment back loess roadbed. The main factors influencing the reinforcement effect of high-speed hydraulic compactor are the ramming gear the number of ramming times and the distance between ramming points. Ba asea on the test results, the influence of different factors on the ramming effect is studied.
