72 DISCUSSION OF THE LARGE GENERATOR-TRANSFORMER UNIT REDUNDANT SETS OF PROTECTION SCHEME Shen Quanrong'.He Xuefeng'.Shen Jian2.Yan Wei.Zheng Yuping'.Shen Guorong' (1.Nanjing Automation Research Institute.Nanjing 210003.China) (2.Wangting Power Plant.Suzhou 215000.China) Abstract:A new scheme of the large generator-transformer unit redundant sets of protection is proposed.The large generator transformer unit protection scheme achieved in the protection equipment RCS-985 is introduced in detail.which uses redundant sets of main protection.back-up protection scheme and abnormal protection of generator.Moreover.the advantages of simple circuit and convenience in operation of redundant sets of both the main and back-up protection schemes are illustrated.Espe- cially.the configuration scheme of TA and TV is proposed and some problems of redundant sets of main and back-up protec- tion scheme need to be solved are discussed.
