KEY WORDS thin slab casting;cast-rolling;longitudinal tensile strain 米米米米※*米米米米米※米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米米 (上接427页) Optimum Process of RH Treatment for Ultra-low Carbon Steel Fang Dong.Liu Zhongzhu.Cai Kaike Metallurgy School.UST Beijing,Beijng 100083.China ABSTRACT A mathematical model was established and applied to simulate the decarburization in RH de- gasser and to study the effects of [C]o,[O]o,flow amount of Ar and diameter of the snorkels on the decarburiza- tion.The results obtained by using the model showed that as considering the RH process in the plant,the oxy- gen in the melt at the end of decarburization can be reduced by increasing the original carbon and decreasing the original oxygen without unacceptable carbon content.Thus the consumption of deoxidizing alloy can be reduced,and the inclusions produced in deoxidizing process can be reduced.
