History of Chinese Ocean is a comprehensive elective course in the humanities and social sciences. The main teaching is the historical process of the understanding of ocean development and utilization of ocean from ancient and modern of China, including marine consciousness, marine policy and strategy, marine geography, navigation, coastal defense history, marine development and utilization, covering the field of ocean marine political history, economic history and social history, maritime history, marine culture history.
