Vol.25 No.6 杨海波等:斜轧零件应力应变特征与内部低周疲劳损伤机制 ·567· Characteristic Stress-Strain and Damage Mechanism of Workpiece Due to Low Cycle Fatigue in Skew Rolling YANG Haibo,ZHANG Lijie,MA Guohua,HU Zhenghuan Mechanical Engineering School,University of Science and Technology Beijing.Beijing 100083,China ABSTRACT The 3-dimension finite element models of tool and workpiece in the skew rolling process were built up with ANSYS/LS-DYNA.Computer simulations on the ladder shaft in skew rolling under different parameters were conducted.According to the simulation results,the stress and strain of workpiece in the skew rolling were ob- tained and the forming mechanism of interior defects in the billet were studied.A explanation to the mechanism of Mannesmann effect is that low cycle fatigue damage,in the condition of deformation with large plastic strain,oc- curs inside the workpiece due to the alternately-changing stress and strain.
