In a similar way, the leaf angle of non-crop is essential to its growth as well, which has much less attention. As we all know, plants are self-adjustable and self-adaptable. They tend to make the most of energy in light, by changing its leaf angle, which leads to the best condition in growth. We picked up Achyranthes bidentata in Western Tianmu Mountain, an ideal subject for measurement of leaf angle. Illumination intensity, which was quantified as coverage of trees above, was considered to be the main factor of leaf angle.
