Historic maps show the sediments built up at Shanghai area and formed the land.Land at Jiading area was formed about 7000 years ago.Jiading county was established in 1217 AD,while Shanghai became a city since 1553 AD. Shanghai is surrounded by Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces,which are rich in their cultural history.During Qianlong era (1736-1795 AD)of Qing Dyasty.
