The educational literature is providing abundant evidence that at least some students learn better in a setting wherein cooperative learning is used -i.e. " the instructional use of small groups so that students work together to maximize their own and each other's learning (Johnson, 1993. Cooperative Learning and College Teaching Newsletter 3(2): 6-9) 3.
