Especially in recent years, with the p roven reserves increase step by step at home and abroad, the study of non2structural petroleum has become a top subject. This paper outlines the defini2 tion, classification, distributive feature, identification, and p rediction and so on of non2structural petroleum res2 ervoirs. These studies have much more important signifi2 cance on enhancing the success ratio of exp loration of this kind of reservoirs. But there exists a series of issues that should be urgently dealt with for the current study situa2 tion, so further deeper discussion is needed. It has several oil fields including Weigang, Zhangdian, Dongzhuang, Beima and so on. Dongzhuang O il Field locates in the southwest of the sag. It is a comp lex fault block oil field cut by a group of southward slanting normal faults with the same trend as the anticline background. The reservoirs are mainly sand bar deltic frontal sand body and fine and siltstone. The reservoir formation characteristic is“anticline structure controls hydrocarbon accumulation scope, sand body de2 term ines hydrocarbon enrichness degree, and faults con2 tribute to hydrocarbon re2distribution and barriers”. Res2 ervoirs have large buried dep th and small thickness. O il 2 bearing intervals are concentrated. They distribute arealy in the north side of the anticline structure in Dongzhuang, while scattered in the south side, and vertically concen2 trate in Segment II and III of TaoyuanMember. Reservoir types are mainly fault nose and fault block. Study on the tectonic movement and quantitative restore of the dynam ic p rocess of the evolution of basin formation is significant in recog2 nizing the controlling effect of trap development and struc2 ture of the basin on oil hydrocarbon accumulation. Baiy2 inchagan Sag locates in the north side of Erlian Basin, being a rift with fault in the north and overburden in the south. After many years of exp loration and study, a large amount of recognition is obtained with a good exp loration achievement. In recent years, the exp loration result is not satisfied. The main reason is that the controlling factors and accumulation rule of hydrocarbon reservoir formation are not understood. This paper uses balance p rofile re2 store method to study the structural subsidence of horizon2 tal extension in different sedimentary period and its gene2 sis mechanism of Baiyinchagan Sag, discusses the sedi2 mentary filling evolution and development characteristic, and determ ines their relation to hydrocarbon m igration, reservoir formation and accumulation.
