Part 4: Using the dumpName Space tool During this part of the exercise, you will use the dumpName Space tool to see how JMS resources(Queue Connection Factories and Destinations-Queues and Topics)are registered in the WebSphere Application Server name space. The dumpName Space tool is used to dump the contents of a name space. Each managed server process(e.g, dmgr, nodeagent, server1) has a name space and an associated bootstrap server. The bootstrap server can be addressed by a hostname. Often you may need to dump the name space to determine why a name operation is failing The dumpName Space tool has a number of parameters and keywords that can be used to selectively dump portions of a name space. For this exercise, we will use some basic dumpName Space options to locate the JMS resources that are bound to server1 1. Issue the dumpName Space command a.
