Objectives ➢ Phonetics - Stress, Intonation and Accent ➢ To get some training on learning strategies (1) listen for specific information: understanding what you need and catching them — telephone numbers, addresses, time and date (2) note-taking: note down the key words (3) Memory-focus training: make a list of keywords to bring back memories (4) autonomous learning: finish the self-learning tasks with the help of subtitles & scripts ➢ To expand students knowledge about disease & reflexology Ⅲ. Contents Section One Tactics for listening Part 1 Phonetics - Stress, Intonation and Accent Part 2 Listening and Note-taking - Mountain Rescue Service Section Two Listening Comprehension Dialogue 1 Stressed Out Part 1 Dialogues Dialogue 2 Reflexology Passage 1 Epidemics Part 2 Passages Passage 2 Cancer Part 3 News - News Item 1, 2, 3 Section Three Oral Work - Retelling Ⅳ.
