Unit 8. Book 1 Description of the class The students are freshmen with the age between 17-21. They are not very active and enthusiastic. To give the students writing practice in comparison Duration: This unit is supposed to be finished within 6 periods(300 Period One Objective 1: (Estimated time: 12 minutes) 1. Task: Topics for discussion Have you ever had bright ideas? If you have, what are they? B. When do you usually have bright ideas? 2. Activity and class organization: The teacher asks two students to answer the above questions. After SI and S2 have answered the questions, the teacher asks $3 and S4 to add some new information about the two questions.
