KEY WORDS coexistence theory;surface tension;calculating model 架架架架架保架架架深架架架架架醉程架架架架架架架架架架职架职架部醉架架架胶警腔醉 Mechanism of Oscillation Mark Formation in Continuous Casting of Steel BO Kaitao,CHENG Guoguang,WU Jie,ZHAO Pei,WANG Jun Metallurgy School,University of Science and Technology,Beijing,Beijing 100083,China Abstract:A new mechanism of oscillation mark formation has been suggested based on the deep investigation of meniscus behavior in continuous casting of steel.It's confirmed that the meniscus form is important to os- cillation mark formation.The factors related to the formation of oscillation mark are discussed in detail.The longer the solid shell existed at the root of meniscus and the smaller the contact angle between meniscus and mold wall,the deeper the oscillation mark.
