RESEARCH PROGRESS ON THE SEED STORABILITY L Qiang,REN Min,LIU Xiangjun (College df Chemistry and Life Science.Tarin Normal Untversity,Tanin 300074.China) Abstraet:In the paper the ar gives a brief account of esarch progress on the sed sorability and putor ward the problem that be noticed in research in the future.Temperature isone of the important factors of influencing the ed lonevity.High temperature can make seds to be fast bad.w temperature o sore eds main method nowadays.Cold and hot stimulation can obviously restrain physiological disease of the seed.Water content ol the seed and environmental humidity influence the seed longevity.Generally peaking,the seed storability can be ent gas component and proportion have different influence on the seed longevity.Chemical material that store seeds need a extensively and research.Genetic factor and domancy characteristic are inherent ence the seed longevity.During to different genetics factor and dormancy characteristic between different species or varieties the seed storability are different.To raise seed storability should be done extensively and profoundly mot omr ly on physical and chemical condition but a in breeding.
