课程简介: to a. lant physiology is about the unique function and structure of plants in relation eir growth, survival and response to the environment. It is about hoy ww plants use the energy of sun to assimilate carbon, and how they convert the inorganic carbon source from environment into organic carbon materials that plant can use, and about how plants obtain and distribute nutrients and water, how they grow and develop, how they respond to their environment, how they react to stress, and how they reproduce The course mainly introduce the principles and applied technology of plant water relationship and plant nutrition, photosynthesis including mechanism of sun light conversion and regulation of environmental cond ition to it, plant grows, development reproduction, senescence, and plant response to stress. Thus topics of this course will include plant structure, photosynthesis, respiration, carbon assimilation and allocation, and the control of growth and development by hormonal signals and how plants integrate environmental signals. Plant physiology will answer the questions like what plants do and what physical and chemical factors cause them to respond as they do The course also introduce the pathways and principles of assimilates in plant, the regulations of plants hormones and environmental factors to plant cells, tissues organs and individuals. Lecture and experiment of plant physiology will be set as separate courses; the course of lectures on theory of plant physiology is the one with bilingual education in English and Chinese 教学内容 Lecture on theory of plant physiology, Total 54 teaching hours Chapter 1 Introduction (I teaching hours) I, To introduce the course objectives, course description, and the development of plant physiology in China and plant physiologic 2, To understand the relations of plant cell and plant physiology Chapter 2 Water metabolism (3 teaching hours) Key parts: the pathways of water movement in plants: diffusion, bulk flow and osmosis, and the water movement from the soil to the root, then transport hrough the xylem Difficult parts: the concepts of water potential and the osmosis; the pathways of water movement and water transportation Objectives: I, To understand the roles of water in plants o understand plant-water relations课程简介: Plant physiology is about the unique function and structure of plants in relation to their growth, survival and response to the environment.
