“黄金水稻”所引发的故事 刘科含 (上海交通大学电子信息与电气工程学院电气工程与自动化系,上海) 摘要:在现在的世界上,仍然有许多人被维生素A缺乏症困扰。而B-胡萝卜素 可以在人体内分解成维生素A,缓解维生素A缺乏症。然而通过传统方法提取、 合成B一胡萝卜素的成本较高,产量也较低。而通过转基因技术,将产生B-胡萝 卜素的基因导入稻类的使用部分胚乳,使得产出的大米含有B-胡萝卜素,可以 使B-胡萝卜素成本降低,便于其推广。然而黄金水稻因为关于转基因所固有的 争议,和最近在中国进行的转化性实验违反了实验对象对转基因实验的知情权等, 使得黄金水稻饱受争议。 关键词:黄金水稻;维生素A缺乏症;转基因 The Story Triggered by“Golden Rice” Liu Kehan (Department of Electrical Engineering,School of Electronic,Information and Electrical Engineering,Shanghai Jiao Tong University,Shanghai,China) Abstract:In today's world,there are still many people plagued by vitamin a deficiency.Beta carotene can be broken down in the body into vitamin a,alleviate vitamin a deficiency.However,synthesis of B-carotene is extracted through the traditional method costs more,lower yields.Using genetic engineering,will produce B-carotene uses parts of the class of genes into rice endosperm left output of rice contains beta-carotene,can reduce the cost of B-carotene to facilitate their promotion. Yet golden rice controversy about genetically engineered inherent,transformation experiments and more recently in China violates the right of subjects on transgenic experiments and so on,makes golden rice controversy.
