上海究通大学 SHANGHAI JIAO TONG UNIVERSITY Supply Chain Management 2013 established the objectives and guiding principles of medical error reduction.FDA (The United States Food and Drug Administration)released the code rules on February 25,2004,asked drug makers,repackaging and labelers to past the bar code on inner packing in most prescription drugs,which will contain the product of national drug code(NDC)number.FDA forecast that the rule will reduce 500,000 medical errors in the next 20 years. How does RFID Solve the Problem When a patient goes to the hospital,he will receive a wristband which is made of RFID technique.It contains the information of a patient,for example,name,age, blood type,medical history,bed Number,drug sensitive to(过敏原),when he need to get an injection,the amount of the injection and so on. Hospital can put signal reception and transmission equipment in the room,hall or other areas forming a network.When a patient walks around the equipment can get his immediate position,status and transmit the information through the network, then,doctors will read it out in the control software and provide better medical care.
