在网络教育过程中，无法以传统方式开设实验课程这一问题，一直影响网络教育的质量，虚拟实验的出现，给出了解决这一问题的新思路。本文通过对现有技术进行比较，最终选用虚拟现实建模语言VRML进行虚拟实现环境的创建，并利用JavaScript编程语言对VRML进行扩展，实现了一个虚拟实验实例，为网络教育中虚拟实验的建设，提供了可行的实施方案
