The theory of heart2mind is combined with the ontology imp licitly and delicately, not to mainly exp licate heart2mind thought by the forming of human nature but exp ress the awareness of the noumenon of heart2mind by the concep t of Shen ( sp irit2like). It actually develop s a theory of the coinci2 dence between heart2mind and the noumenon of the great change but not a theory of hylogenesis. Yizhuan expounds the system of heart2mind and consciousness by the pattern“noumenon ———Shen———minutest sp rings”with two cognitive methods of“the versatile and sp irit2like stalks”and“the exact and wise diagrams”in a sense. The focal point of the theory of heart2mind lies in the sages’en2 lightenment by super wisdom, with human heart2mind as the core of heaven and earth and the sages’enlightenment as the core of hu2 man heart2mind as well, and then comes out with the unity of internal mind and external conducts. This is the basic character of the theory of heart2mind in the Yizhuan. In addition, this paper tries to compare the philosophical meanings in the Doctrine of the M ean with that in the Yizhuan.
