They belong to genitive construction and mean two things have a stable and lasting connection In order to understand the construction we need to find the semantic relevance between the two nouns. The construction in Russian is influenced by many factors, such as word meaning, single/plural form, modified component, definite/indefinite, quantitative/non quantitative. Chinese lacks morphological signs of grammatical relations. Chinese construction Ni(BJ)N2 is different from Russian genitive construction NIN2 in semantic characteristics and formation condition.
