Some spatial patterns were summarized, that is, spot- axis￾area pattern, multi- pole circularity pattern, multi- pole- network pattern, and area development pattern. In the end, it discussed the common grounds of foreign different territory development patterns and its inspirations for current territory spatial planning in China.
