湖北省黄石市化纤针织厂(以下简称化纤厂)1989年2月20日前,陆续 向中国工商银行黄石市中心支行石灰窑办事处(以下简称石灰窑办事处)贷款 累计金额达35.2万元。1987年以来,化纤厂生产连年亏损,致使贷款逾期无 力偿还。石灰窑办事处向湖北省黄石市中级人民法院提起诉讼。黄石市中级人 民法院经审理,在查明事实,分清是非的基础上,依法主持双方调解,于1989 年4月20日达成协议:化纤厂同意以其厂房和生产设备(净值478915.35元) 设定抵押,从调解达成协议之日起3年内分期偿还所欠石灰窑办事处的贷款
