What is the theme of the text? Scientists think that wonderful things may come true in the future lI. Which of the wonderful things described do you think are the most wonderful? Scientists will be able to find cures for most diseases Highways of the future will be fully automated Weather control will be realized in the future

Structural analysis of the text Main idea of each part Part One(1-4)---a vivid description of the future journey to the wonderful sea world: the theme of the text and definition of the word future Part TWo(5-7)---describing a future journey into space to visit the moon the mars and the venus the descriptions are presented in the chronological order and from the near-to-far space perspective Part Three(8-12)---describing some wonderful things which may come true(the future dolls, special computers flying saucers, future bicycles and skates, telepathy helmets) Part Four(13-21)---describing great wonders will directly influence or be closely related to future life Conclusion part: the last paragraph is a logical and natural conclusion
