一、生平简介 高斯(Carl Friedrich Gauss，1777～1855)德国数学家和物理学家，1777 年 4 月 30 日出生于德国不伦瑞克的一个贫苦农民家庭。幼时家境贫苦，聪敏异常， 受一贵族资助才进入学校受教育。1795～1798 年在哥廷根大学学习，1799 年获 得博士学位，1807 年开始任哥廷根大学数学教授和天文台台长，1833 年和物理 学家韦伯共同建立地磁观测台，组织磁学学会以联系全世界的地磁台站网。1855 年 2 月 23 日在哥廷根逝世，终年 78 岁
