What is a pressure ulcer(压力性溃疡)？ *Pressure ulcer is defined as any lesion caused by unrelieved pressure that results in damage to underlying tissue. Pressure ulcer is a damage area of skin which occurs when,over time,pressure reduces or cuts off the blood supply to a particular part of the body

Are pressure ulcers serious? They can be serious,depending on how much the skin and tissues have been damaged. Mild damage only causes the skin to be discolored and feel warmer than the surrounding skin. Deep ulcer go down into the muscle,or even to the bone (osteomyelitis(骨髓炎)，even death)
