iSPOTS with AC Milan 899 In the video of the open class of the supply chain,there is a project that draw my attention,which is the iSPOTS with AC Milan. "We actually have a project with a soccer team.",said the speechmaker,"And it's with AC Milan,we are actually tracking players with a couple of centimeter accuracy in real time and then developing artificial intelligence for signals to study the movements and optimize the strategy.So we just got this kind of traces and then analyze them......". I'm interested in this topic,because I am a soccer fan.So I'd like to do some research about this topic. As a part technology of RFID,iSPOTS can be understood just like RFID.And AC Milan is one of the greatest and most successful soccer clubs in the world,which is founded in 1899.AC Milan have a long shinning history,advanced soccer concepts,big stars,and loyal fans.So when the iSPOTS,the newly advanced technology meet with the great soccer team,it will be a noticeable improvement for both technology and soccer. computer and WiFi,then it can quantify by allowing people to locate themselves,with a few meter accuracy ,using the WiFi network.And there must something that make the iSPOTS different from the normal RFID,which is that the iSPOTS can track more accurate,more quick,so that it can be used for the players tracking. You see,the field for soccer is only about 105m*68m,so if you want to track the movements of players,you must be accurate,or the project will be meaningless. Just like RFID,the tags will be attached to the objects,which are the players of AC Milan in this case of iSPOTS.Using the WiFi,the tags can be easily connected with computer in real time,so we can get the track of the movements of the players.Then the computer can provide us with integrated information,which can be used for further study. Inzaghi keep being off-side,why there will be open space between the CB and LB or RB,why the DMF cannot pass the ball immediately, why Seedorf cannot make valid assists,etc.Most of times,the coaches will notice these problem,but they usually picture it in the brain or just draw it down on a board,it is less accurate and it will lose the information of time dimension.So the iSPOTS will be very helpful for the coaches. Not only can this project be applied into soccer,but also some other different sports.For example,American football, because besides strength,the most important thing about American football is how to run.The better track you choose to run,the better chance to score.And also short-track speeding skating,as far as I know,the Korea is one of the best short-track speeding skating team in the whole world,and they are very good at track-picking.By using the iSPOTS,we can easily track the players, then to study why Korean players can make great performance by taking advantage of good track. So,we can see that the iSPOTS,even the RFID,can benefit the soccer team,and other sports.The development of technology should be like this,doing good to our real life,instead of staying in laboratory.And I can say that the iSPOTS is very promising
