Dissemination of Research Findings 1. Publication in Scientific Journal Research findings can be dissemination either by publications, usually s scientific paper in a professional journal or by oral presentation at a scientific Conference We assume we have prepared our paper in accordance to the guidelines we have discussed for the past lectures. Our scientific paper will have the sections: Introduction, Experimental( or Materials methods), Results and discussions, Conclusion. Also we must follow strictly the requirements of the journal we choose to publish in. (See"Instructions to Authors" of Journal) 1.1 Selection of journal for publication When considering which journal to publish in bear in mind that (a) All International journals are referred (b) Some are very focussed, others broader in scope e.g. Joumal of chromatography(focussed), Analytical Chemistry (general)

Review Articles The critical reviews of important areas of chemical engineering for general readers should discuss the background, state of the art, and outstanding research problems. Reviews of emerging areas and areas that stimulate new research are particularly encouraged. Authors interested in review articles should consult the editor, an appropriate associate editor, or Consulting Editor. Research Articles Full -length research articles describe important new experimental or theoretical research findings, which represent significant, not incremental, advances in chemical engineering
