Story In the middle of the 19th century,in the distant open coast of New Zealand,Ada, an American woman,with a nine year old daughter flora and a piano,was married to an American colonist Stewart.Because the journey was very hard,the husband decided to leave the piano on the beach.Ada's soul was in agony.She lost the ability to speak at an early age,and the only thing that could keep away her loneliness was the beautiful piano music.Stewart was a businessman who only wanted to earn money.He didn't listen to his wife's request.Ada could only resort to George Baines, her neighbor.George said he wanted to listen to Ada playing the piano.So Ada madly played the piano in the seaside to let out her loneliness and pain of her heart.Baines understood Ada through her stirring music.By using a piece of land Baines bought the piano,and took it back home.
