Pets can calm us and bring us out of a funk when human words don't help. When pets depend onus for food and shelter,they make us feel needed and important. Keeping a pet around means young kids have the access to the more natural world in this"Plastic Age",and learning to care for a pet helps achild to grow into a loving adult who feels responsible for those who depend on them and towards the society that needs their contribution for a better world too.
