This course aims at building students' basic abilities of interpreting, including listening and understanding, memorizing and note-taking, as well as expressing in target language. The course is designed to cover themes most common in social life, including diplomatic reception, conferences, interviews, education, economy, trade, urban life, science and technology, etc. The instructor introduces interpreting skills and high 基本内容 quency words to students, and designs interpreting scenarios for intensive training m The course exposes students to large volumes of audio-video materials (60 min and 100 words per week).
