《基础创意写作》课程大纲 课程基本信息（Course Information） 课程编号 （Course ID） *学时 （Credit Hours） 32 *学分 （Credits） 2 *课程名称 （Course Name） 《基础创意写作》 Steps to English Creative Writing 先修课程 （Prerequisite Courses） *课程简介 （Description） 创意写作在西方已有近百年的历史，有一套完整的教学模式，是英语国家高校发展势头 很好的课程之一。创意写作包括小说、非小说和诗歌以及其他文学体裁的写作。本课程 侧重于短篇小说写作。本课程基于中国学生的特殊性，并参考西方的创意写作教学，分 别从语言、内容和技巧三个方面介绍短篇小说的写作方法和技巧。本课程提供大量的写 作演示和写作练习，使学生掌握英语短篇小说写作的要点，在较短的时间内能完成一篇 具有可读性的英语短篇小说，为进一步学习英语创意写作奠定基础。同时，本课程还可 以极大地帮助学生提高英语水平，从而更好、更有效地讲述中国故事，传播中国文化。 这门课程是为英语专业大二学生开设。英语专业大二学生在完成一年的英语基础训练后， 具备一定的英语读写技能，需要进一步学习各种写作技能，了解各种体裁的写作特点， 本课程能较好第满足他们的需求。 *课程简介 （Description） Creative writing has been around for nearly a hundred years in the West, with a set of teaching models. It is one of the well-developed courses in colleges and universities in major English-speaking countries. Creative writing includes the writing of fiction, nonfiction and poetry, and other literary genres. This course focuses on the writing of fiction, i.e., the writing of short stories in English. Based on the specificity of Chinese students and with reference to the teaching of creative writing in the West, this course introduces the methods and techniques of writing short stories from three aspects: language, content and techniques, respectively. The course provides a large number of writing demonstrations and practical writing exercises, which will enable students to master the key points of English short story writing and complete a recognizable English short story in a relatively short time, laying the foundation for their further study of English creative writing. At the same time, this course can also greatly help students achieve better English proficiency so that they can better and more effectively tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese culture. This course is for sophomore English majors. After completing the basic training of the English language, they have certain English writing skills and need to further learn various writing skills and understand the characteristics of various genres. This course will meet their needs well
