新高考英语写作与解读一一写作中的汉式英语的分类和措施 学生的英语写作有很多种错误,今天我重点谈谈比较隐含的错误:汉式英语。这种错误甚至 困扰很多英语学习优秀的学生,因此需要格外重视 我以我最近的一次学生作文批改为例来谈谈。文后附作文题和答案。 错误一、打太极的模糊观点 After telling white lies, the results may be good or bad.字面翻译:讲完善意的谎言,结果可能 好或者可能坏。 这种话其实是无效的,等于没有说。改为 Telling white lies may produce more positive results than negative ones 写作的观点最好要明确,含糊不清做和事佬实在不可取。 写出: the result is good or bad的句子也没有错,但是不常见,表语从句多是: The result is that 更常见的是: produce a result. I achieve a better result I achieve a positive result 错误二、忽视话语中隐含的逻辑主语 例子1: The first reason is good feelings 这个是没有问题的,但再看 The reasons to me are not guilty and fear they are a snowflake 这个句子就完全是汉语直译了,即:原因对我来说是不内疚,和担心他们有玻璃心 汉语能马马虎虎讲得通,但英语就不是了,英语是逻辑性非常强的语言: reason只是一个物, 不会感到内疚,也不会担心。 怎么改,很简单,必须了解 reason的最常用的搭配: the reason is that

所以改为: The reason is that i will not feel guilty and fear they are a snowflake Bf 2: Telling white lie is possible to lost trust or misguide 这个句子除了明显的错误:lie改为les,lost要改为lose,但还有两个隐含的错误。 首先说,这个句子是直译汉语:说善意的谎言可能会失去信任或误导。 这样的汉语句子,我们都能听懂,但是写成英语你就要三思了 1 lose trust的动作是谁发出的? 2 misguide是及物还是不及物? 说谎只是一个行为,这个行为会让人失去信任,所以句子要改为 Telling white lies can make one lose others' trust and misguide his friends. 很多情况下,这样的句子改法就是: sth make/ help sb do 错误三、没有英语中的句型意识,导致碎片化的直译 看下面几个句子 The reasons why we tell a white lie that I think from two aspects The facts about it is from person to person If you don t do very perfect at very part you may lose trust from who you want to protect Maybe it will result in worse things The white lie also can make others comforta ble and let them do not loss the confidence a bout The reasons may be from two parts 这几个句子都是来自不同的学生所写,他们共同的问题是:直译汉语句型。譬如:原因/事
所以改为：The reason is that I will not feel guilty and fear they are a snowflake. 例子 2：Telling white lie is possible to lost trust or misguide. 这个句子除了明显的错误：lie 改为 lies，lost 要改为 lose，但还有两个隐含的错误。 首先说，这个句子是直译汉语：说善意的谎言可能会失去信任或误导。 这样的汉语句子，我们都能听懂，但是写成英语你就要三思了。 1.lose trust 的动作是谁发出的？ 2.misguide 是及物还是不及物？ 说谎只是一个行为，这个行为会让人失去信任，所以句子要改为： Telling white lies can make one lose others’ trust and misguide his friends. 很多情况下，这样的句子改法就是： sth make / help sb do… 错误三、没有英语中的句型意识，导致碎片化的直译 看下面几个句子： The reasons why we tell a white lie that I think from two aspects.
