The culture corner is an introduction about some famous international film festivals at home and abroad.The students must have great interest in learning about international film festivals.This topic is quite close to students'real life and it must be familiar and attractive for the students to learn more about the international film festivals. The students are from Grade 9.They have learned English for almost nine years.They have Analysis of a certain ability to read an interview by using some common reading strategies such as skimming and scanning.They also have strong interest in films and international film Students festivals.However,some of the students are slow learners in English who need to be taught how to guess the meanings of some new words especially the idioms in the interview.
