Teaching and learning contents: The usages of infinitives as subjects,attributives(after nouns),predicative(after the linking verbs). Teaching and learning difficulties: The usages of infinitives as attributive(after nouns). Teaching and learning procedures: Step 1 Read a story. Students read a story and teacher remind them to focus on infinitives sentences. Step 2 Comb the grammar concept. 1.Teacher lead students to recall the usages of infinitives as object,adverbial and object complement 2.Teacher introduce the usages of infinitives as subjects,attributives(after nuons),predicative(after the linking verbs). Step 3 Explore the grammar rules. 1.Learn infinitives as subjects. 1)Students read 5 sentences together,and then divide the sentence elements with the help of teacher. 2)Students anylaze and summarize the sentence structures(infinitives as subjects): To do sth.is..... It is adj.+(for/of)sb.to do sth. It takes/took sb.some time to do sth. 3)Students take notes

Step 4 Do more practice. 1.Students do exercisel:complete the conversation with infinitives,then check the answers(ask 2 students to read the conversation,and then ask one top students to explain the sentence elements of infinitives) 2.Students do exercise3:put the words into correct order to make sentences,then check them one by one(ask one top students to explain the sentence elements of infinitives) 3.Students do exercise3:read two articles about Mark and Mia's learning experience,then imitate and write an article to introduce your way of learning your favourite subject.
