The course is guided by Marxism and integrates Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought into contemporary European issues and regional studies and teaching, cultivates undergraduates' understanding of Europe, enhances students' understanding of European politics, economy and diplomacy by taking political science, economics and international relations theory as the framework and cut-off point, and improves the students' ideological and moral cultivation, humanistic quality, scientific spirit, rule of law and national security awareness in a subtle way. In addition to the basic lecture mode, the lectures are designed to enhance students' knowledge, international thinking and academic innovation. In addition to the basic lecture mode, the course also adopts debate, group discussion on cases, role-playing and other classroom activities to increase their sense of immersion and participation, provide students with the opportunity to combine the quality of knowledge and their oral expression capability, and stimulate their creative and innovative energy.
