
Primary Culture Syllabus Instructors: Kun Li, Qinghua Luo Department: Biological Science I. Content Introduce the Primary Culture technique, articulate and demonstrate the experiment preparation, operation, results analysis and discussion of this important technique. II. Goals Make students be familiar with the primary culture technique. Help them develop “to do” ability, motivate their interest to life science and improve their ability of “research”. III. Key Points The students already studied “cell biology”, so the key points of this class should be learning clear experiment steps, correct operations, and strict sterilization. IV. Teaching Method Help students prepare for the class, demonstrate correct experiment operations, remind them background knowledge, and emphasize the importance of sterilization. Instruct the students analyze and discuss the experiment results and write complete scientific experiment report. V. Teaching and Studying Design A successful experiment relys on deliberate thinking, adequate preparation, careful operation and detailed result analysis and discussion. Therefore, in this class, we first introduce students the general idea and steps of primary culture, pop up questions and help them to deploy the whole experiment process. Then we guide the students strictly follow the experiment steps and lab rules, help them to build up the concept that “devil is in the details.” Finally, we are going to help the student to summarize and discuss the experiment results, enlighten their thinking and teach them the general pricinples of scientific experiment design. VI. Teaching Material A handout prepared by the instructor of this class is used as the teaching material. VII. Homework A experiment preview report and a final complete scientific report are required to get full credit of this class

原代细胞培养(Primary Culture)教学大纲 任课教师:李琨,罗庆华 所在院系:生命科学学院 一、 教学内容 教授原代细胞培养的技术方法,阐述和示范原代细胞培养的实验准备,实验操作,实验结 果,和结果分析等方面的内容。 二、 教学目的 让学生熟悉并体验原代细胞培养的整个流程,培养实际操作能力,激发学生对细胞生物学 的兴趣,并提升其科研能力。 三、 教学重点 教学重点为实操部分,学生已经具有细胞生物学基础,实验课重点放在正确的实验步骤, 实验操作,及严格的无菌操作等部分。 四、 教学方法 指导学生预习,示范正确的实验操作,帮助学生回忆可能涉及的知识点,强调无菌操作的 重要性,指导学生进行实验总结和结果分析,撰写完整的实验报告。 五、 教学设计思路 一个实验的成功取决于缜密的思考,充分的准备,精细完整的操作和详尽科学的结果分析 及讨论。本门实验课首先将完整的实验过程讲述给学生,提出问题,并指导他们预习实 验,在实验前进行规划部署。其次,指导学生在实验过程中严格,规范地进行操作,体会 科学实验中细节决定成败的重要性。再次,帮助学生对实验结果进行总结,讨论,启迪思 维,总结经验,从本实验中学习生命科学实验的一般原则,实验方法,和实验设计思路。 六、 教材 本实验采用老师自编的讲义作为教材,着重于实验准备,实操过程,和结果分析。 七、 作业 指导学生完成预习报告和完整的实验报告
