Orientation of the Course With the guidance of the Marxism, in order to cultivate students’ comprehensive professional qualities of maritime-related legal affairs and to improve the academic and practical strength of China’s maritime dispute resolution, the course will help the students to understand the maritime law, the international practice in maritime affairs, the related PRC’s national strategies, legislation and policies, and to guide the students to go deep into the social and judicial practice in the maritime and related fields. 2. Objects of the Course (1) help the students to understand the development of maritime law from a global perspective;
