fundamentals ■ In power system,the bus voltage is the state variables. The steady-state analysis programs such as load-flow,state- estimation and optimal power flow use the positive sequence bus voltage as the state variable,and the network model uses the positive sequence representation of the power system. Therefore,Positive sequence measurements provide the most direct access to the state of the power system at any given instant.
