Financing is the basis of financial management. Besides common ways of financing(by issuing stocks and bonds etc. insurance companies can also choose financial reinsurance and other special forms. In add ition, investment decisions are also important to insurance companies. In the context of insurance industry in transition and functions of insurance returning to indemnity, how insurance companies manage investment and improv ing the attractiveness of investment-linked insurance and dividend insurance are the major concerns and focuses of this course. The premise of earnings distribution is that insurance companies making profits, which are closely related to the utilization of insurance funds, internal risk management of insurance funds and the management of mortality risk, expense risk and interest rate risk of life insurance company. He serves also as executive council member of the Insurance Society of China and senior member of Accounting Society of China. He is also a research associate at Centre for European Economic Research in Germany. He obtained his Ph D economics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. His research focuses on insurance disaster economics, risk management and insurance management.
