The features of this course are mainly reflected in the following three aspects: 1. Value guidance. In learning the language, the students will understand diverse societies and cultures, enhance their understanding of cultural similarities and differences and build cultural self-confidence. While focusing on developing students’ comprehensive language capability, enhancing their oral English and cross-cultural communication skills, this course also provides diversified resources for language learning. Humanistic education such as Chinese philosophies and values, patriotism, and morality cultivation will also be properly integrated into the course. 2. Knowledge transfer.
